My friends mom has a 2002 kia optima siting in her drive was because it can only go 25mph. I asked whats wrong with it and she said it was the calibrator converter.

Does any one know how much it would cost to repair this?|||What is a calibrator converter? I know of a catalytic converter, but that wouldn't make a car go only 25mph...
There has got to be something bigger wrong with it. Ask her if you can take it to a mechanic and have them take a look and give you a quote.
